All new U20 Programme
Coolmine are delighted to get their under 20s up and running again with a strong programme aimed at providing a quality experience to players in our catchment area. In addition to the excellent playing facilities already in the club we're delighted to be adding a brand new gym, ready for use early season 2022/23. Our players will be provided with good physio and S&C support, as well as the latest club kit for every squad member.
We have recruited head coach Brendan Fanning from Clontarf where he has been hugely successful at a variety of levels for a number of years, most recently that club's Leinster under 20 Premier League success in 2019. The team will be managed by Kieran O'Callaghan and he will be assisted by Dave Gilmore. Kieran is a former Coolmine Director of Rugby with several of our past successful teams.

Our target is to re-establish our 20s as a competitive playing group with a strong social side, including working alongside a local charity of the players' choice, culminating in a huge fundraiser at the end of the season. We will also mobilise our existing membership to offer mentoring/advice for our under 20s in their planned careers.
Coolmine is a thriving club with a vision to be an integral part of our community in West Dublin. We see our under 20s playing a key role in that. If you'd like to be a part of our drive to develop and deliver quality rugby in a great environment we'd love to see you down at the club for pre-season training at 7.30pm on 11 Aug.
