To all members,
It looks like we could be back playing rugby by the end of September. In advance of this, the Club is currently preparing its Return to Rugby protocols that need to align with IRFU requirements so that we can (a) firstly open the Club and (b) safely resume playing and enjoying rugby again.
In advance of this, it is appropriate that we recognize a number of players from from our senior player group for their many contributions over the previous season that was prematurely terminated due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Coolmine RFC Rugby Committee and Coaches are delighted to award;
Coolmine RFC Player of the year: Kyle Faloon
Coolmine RFC 2nds player of the year: Stephen Kane
Coolmine RFC 3rds player of the year: Glenn Doyle
Coolmine RFC 4ths player of the year: Martin Breathnach
Coolmine RFC U20’s
Player of the year: James McDonagh
Most Improved: Conor McMahon
Squad Player of the year: Andrew Lane.
Congratulations to all the above winners, that were chosen out of many excellent player performances in a year where Coolmine RFC has played some of its best rugby in recent times.
We plan to have a players evening in the Club before the season starts and we will properly mark and celebrate the above awards.
Your in Rugby
